Linton Smith and Devin Starks: the young jazz duo swept us away as they performed alongside Larry Jordan's animated master experimental work from a set of shorts dating from the 50s till the 80s. And then Peter Greenaway followed... zebras, amputees, siamese twins, time lapses of animal decomposition... the usual good stuff..

This July Rabbit Movie Night will be screening the strangely beautiful "A Zed and Two Noughts" by controversial British director Peter Greenaway, opened by the "The Smith/Sternberg Duo".
 
8pm:
THE SMITH/STERNBERG DUO
consists of Linton Smith and Joanna Sternberg. Smith is a trumpeter from New Orleans and Sternberg is a bassist hailing from New York. The group plays jazz music and has been playing together for a year now.

Rabbithole Gallery is pleased to present BEARING WITNESS, an exhibition by artist Ivania Guerrero.
 
ARTIST. SCULPTOR. Ivania Guerrero was born in Nicaragua in 1978. At the age of five she, along with her mother and siblings, migrated through the dangerous Mexican-US border to Miami. Her work is inspired by childhood fears of war from a 1979 Nicaraguan uprising that forced her father to flee from political persecution and live in exile in the U.S.

This June we'll be screening Serbian Emir Kusturica's crooked romantic comedy "Black Cat, White Cat" opened by a live performance by the stunning brooklyn based folk orchestra "O' My Fate".

O' MY FATE 
Front men Wilder Lee & Alex Genin join forces in a current incarnation of O' My Fate as they croon & two-step to everything from round-town A'cappella-gospel to Russian war ballads. They have honed a preternatural blasé style all on their own & are bonded with wild mutual interests in the arts-- both culinary & martial.
