The Paloma Project presents: Elemental You

Weaving a vibrant tapestry of contemporary movement and aerial dance, The Paloma Project creates site-specific, multidisciplinary choreography that enmeshes ancient traditions with avant-garde sensibilities. Reflecting the intimate relationship between a dancer and her environment, and set against a pulsating musical composition of strings and percussion, the audience is guided along a multi-sensorial journey of visual storytelling, with complimenting tasting interludes over the course of a two-hour evening.

Saturday, August 6: AERO STUDIES

Aero Studies, a solo show by artist Colette Aliman, will feature four sculptures. In this series, Aliman continues an exploration of inflatable sculpture, a medium that she sees to embody the dialectical relationship between recent pneumatic advances in architecture and the form of the human body.

Friday, August 5: Wishing Well

Wishing Well is an evening to celebrate the work of many artists. It is presented by Rabbit Movers who take pride in their creative staff. The event is BYOB and open to the public with a suggested donation of $10. There will be live acoustic music and a multitude of visual art on display.

My artwork aims to bring the beauty of landscape to the viewer, to encourage people to pause, look, and bask in the simple and often under-appreciated joy of looking. Join curator Sean Stoops and video / digital media artists from Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey for a special one night "Animated Architecture" video art projection event at RabbitholeStudio in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Interior and exterior video installations will be featured.
